When knitting, several things are needed. Needles, yarn and a knowledge of how to make these two items cooperate are some, but another one is a rowcounter. And I've seen numerous rowcounters to be had - if i was willing to part with some money. But where's the fun in that?? I can part with money for yarn and needles, but for a rowcounter?? A cheapo rowcounter in plastic??So I've had plans for months and months - even a year - to make me one. And finally I did - when I saw a picture on Ravelry of one. So easy, so simple, so... I just had to try right away. And it was! Simple and easy! So I had to try a different one - with thick thread insted of satin band, and smaler beads. And it still worked. So I am now a very happy Bobbelur - I now have a rowcounter that counts 11 rows (the big one with black satin band) and one that counts 20 rows (small one with yellow thread and beads in blue and green). I might even have to make some for presents - so fun was this. ;-)
